Job Description: 

Working as a specialist under the supervision of the unit consultant. Follow all hospital administrative and medical policies and procedures. Any other assignments given by the Supervisor or the Management.

Clerks all cases admitted from O.P.D or E.R. Follow-up the laboratory and x-ray results and inform the concerned consultant about it. Joins the consultant in the ward rounds. Attend all normal delivery and caesarian sections. Making round in maternity ward to follow-up newborns.

On-call duty for patients attend to the E.R. when he is called by the E.R. Give urgent care in emergency situation until the consultant arrive. Call the other facility to which the patient will be transferred to and accompany the patient during the ambulance transfer. Documents the daily progress note.

Responsible for documentation of the discharge notes of the patient. Pre-vaccination check-up for pediatrics whenever he asked to do that. Participate in hospital Continuous Education, Safety, Infection Control, and Performance Improvement programs to keep updated with the current practices.

Job Requirements: 
  • MBBCh and Master degree in pediatrics.
  • Current license
  • Two years experience as a Specialist Pediatrician in a reputed hospital.
