JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervising the medical and administrative activities of Obs. & Gyn, Department. Participate and implement the hospital policies and procedures. Coordinate with other departments to improve the standard of service. Any other assignments given by the Supervisor or the Management.

Organizing the annual leave for the staff of the department.
Signing the duty schedule, time sheet, overtime, etc.
Participate in hospital policies and procedures.
Responsible for the overall supervision of the unit.
Report to management about working incidents which might affect the quality of the work.
Management of Out-patients in O.P.D. Management of In-patient admitted under his care including daily rounds.
On-call duties according to the schedule.
Perform surgery in O.R.
Responds to consultations from various departments.
Participate in hospital Continuous Education Program. Participate in different hospital committees such as safety, infection control and performance improvement to keep updated with the current practices.
Suggest plans to expand the work and improve the standard of service.
Cooperate with other departments to improve the working facilities.
Ensure that a regular review and evaluation of the quality and appropriateness of Obs. & Gyn. Care is carried out through designed quality assurance mechanism.
Continually monitor the professional performance and ethical behavior of departmental of staff with the rendering of regular reports on each staff member at least at the time of re-appraisal.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Specialized degree in Obs/Gyne.
Current License.

Not less than five (5) years of experience after high degree.
