Achievement of the highest quality of patient care. Education of junior staff within the department. To carry out general dentist duties, and to take on call rota as necessary. Any other assignment given by the Supervisor or the Management.
To provide comprehensive dental care to the highest possible standard within the departmental resources. To take part in teaching activities and to carry out any administrative duties or other clinical responsibilities as directed by the Chief of Dentistry. Take part in peer review procedures for the benefit of Performance Improvement. To monitor progress of junior staff and provide assessments of their work performance if requested by the Chief of Dentistry. Attends Continuing Education, Infection Control and Performance Improvement programs to keep updated with the current practices.
BDS degree must have been in possession of this degree for a minimum of six years. To have a full time hospital post in general dentistry or one of the specialties or to show evidence of having involved in post-graduate education.
Professional experience (essential) with a minimum of five years in General practice.
