  • Implementation of Infection Control practice in accordance with standards and regulatory authorities.
  • Serves as an Infection Control Consultant to all level of health care.
  • Provides Infection Control reports and surveillance monitoring.
  • Establishes and implements evidence based Infection Control strategies.
  • Promotes and implements infection control guidelines/standards that improves patient outcome and reduces nosocomial infections.
  • Promotes and facilitate educational, staff development programs.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of current Infection Control practice.
  • Demonstrates initiative in a leadership role: education, management.
  • Demonstrates self-education and able to work independently.
  • Prepares and maintains all aspects of automated surveillance data collection and distribution confidentially.
  • Develops and implements infection control strategies in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team that is effective and improves patient outcome.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of infection control regulation and standards.
  • Establishes research projects to reduce nosocomial infection and promote quality health care and verify hypothesis.
  • Ensures accurate documentation of patient care.
